Jeffrey Paris

I am an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy at the University of San Francisco, where I teach classes in Existentialism, Critical & Postmodern Theory, Imprisonment, and Science Fiction.  I was until recently the co- Editor of the Radical Philosophy Review, and a Board member of the North American Sartre Society and the Peace & Justice Studies Association.  I also teach on a volunteer basis in the San Quentin College Program, the only on-site degree-granting college program in the California State Prison system.
